Fernworthy’s Egyptian Day
Pupils took part in an Egyptian workshop run by the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, Exeter. Pupils from Fernworthy Class became archaeologists for the day and learnt to piece together evidence about life and death in Ancient Egypt through artefact handling, studying images and dramatic role play. Extreme Morning
Pupils in Burrator launched their ‘Extreme Weather’ topic with some extreme conditions of their own – by creating shelter and warmth in our school woodland area. The children had to think carefully about how to keep themselves safe and warm in challenging weather conditions.
