Mud Kitchen
Year 5 have been working with Claudia, Anna and Alison from the Abbey Education Centre to design and re-build our mud kitchen in the Woodland Area. Multi-skills tournament
Pupils from Venford Class joined with other schools to take part in a multi-skills tournament. The morning was a real success as pupils enjoyed meeting new people and learning new skills.
Meldon’s Vegetable Garden
Meldon Class have grown lots of vegetables in their new vegetable garden. So far this year they have harvested broad beans, potatoes and purple sprouting.
Devon County Show Scarecrow Competition

First Aid Skills
Burrator pupils took part in some first aid training with Ian Hutchings, as part of their activities week. During the day the children learnt basic first aid skills including how to deal with someone who has collapsed, is choking or needs bandaging.
Dartmoor Zoo
Fernworthy’s topic has been ‘Producers, Predators, Prey’ and so visited Dartmoor Zoo to learn more about food chains and how living things are related in these. During the visit, pupils saw all sorts of animals and learnt about their habitats. Some people even got to hold a stick insect and a snake!
