Women’s Day of Prayer
Pupils were invited to read at the Women’s Day of Prayer service held in Buckfastleigh this year on March 4th. This year the service was written by the women of Cuba and focussed on the needs of the children in that country and worldwide.
Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra
Pupils from the whole of Key Stage Two were able to travel to Exeter University’s Great Hall to watch Bournemouth Symphony orchestra perform for a number of schools. Penguin Dance
Pupils in Venford class took part in a dance festival at Buckfastleigh, along with lots of other local primary schools in the South Dartmoor Sports Partnership. Alice in Wonderland
Pupils in Burrator worked with Marina Saldanha, local dance teacher, to help create a dance based around Alice in Wonderland for the Body Language Dance festival at South Dartmoor Community College. Traidcraft sale
Our school council decided to spend some of the profits they had raised from St Mary’s Healthy Tuck Shop, to purchase some snacks from Traidcraft. Venford’s Fab Lab workshop
Pupils in Venford class also experienced a Fab Lab workshop, in partnership with the Plymouth College of Art.
