Pupils have carried out a number of science experiments this term, including those relating to forensic science techniques used to discover a smarties thief and chromatography techniques.  This work has inspired some of the pupils to join the after school forensic science club running this half term.

Pupils also carried out a number of maths investigations, designed themselves using a bag of Smarties.

Children had the chance to try out African batik, as they designed and created their own unique artwork using this technique.

As part of their African topic, the children have written their own ‘Elephant Journals’, based on the book ‘Lion Journal’ by Carolyn Franklin.
