Exeter’s Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) hosted a contemporary LEGO exhibition called ‘A LEGO Brick History of Exeter’.  Schools in the local area were invited to design and build a model of a building for Exeter’s future in LEGO.  Pupils at St Mary’s decided to create a garage.   It was designed to be more ‘eco-friendly’ than your average garage, which fitted with our school’s Eco Green Flag culture and energy saving initiatives.  For example: there are solar panels on the roof to help to generate solar energy, a garden area outside to improve the look of the garage for those who are living nearby and to improve the environment for wildlife and a rooftop café with garden for those who are waiting for their car/ vehicle.   Accessibility was also considered, for example incorporating a lift and a wide entrance.
