The theme for this year’s World Book Day was ‘Cosy up with a Book.’ Children were invited to bring their favourite book to share and came into school dressed in their
pyjamas or loungewear. The school ran a ‘virtual’ book fair and distributed World Book Day tokens to each child, which could be exchanged for a book. Burrator Class were set an ‘extreme reading challenge’ as part of World Book Day and asked to read in an unusual place. Take a look at the photos from some of the pupils taking part in the challenge!
