Pupils in Year 6 have had the opportunity to work towards the Torbay and Devon Civic Award by completing a number of community-based activities in their own time. Three of the pupils put forward portfolios detailing the activities they had completed and were interviewed by Paddy Mahon, one of our school governors and Alison Gagg, the education officer from the Abbey. Following successsful assessments the pupils attended a special ceremony at Torquay Boys’ Grammar School to receive their awards.
