St Mary’s has been awarded the Green Flag Award as a result of the work which the Eco Committee has led. This represents two years’ hard work to achieve the Green Flag Award, having previously been awarded the Bronze and Silver Eco Awards. Pupils carried out audits, ran competitions to promote energy saving behaviour, carried out litter collections and focussed on ways to encourage wildlife in the school grounds.
