Pupils prepared for this special season by making a Lent Promise which was written onto a leaf and attached to the Lenten Tree in the hall.
The school community also took part in special liturgies to remember the importance of Holy Week. Year 5 and 6 pupils led a special Holy Week Liturgy to which Father Christopher, our school chaplain, was invited. Later in the week pupils also organised and led our Stations of the Cross. Burrator class created collages using symbolic objects and natural materials to tell the story of Holy Week. Each group laid out their design in the hall and retold the story of Holy Week, explaining their choice of symbols.
