Melo the Assistance Dog

St Mary’s was visited by Melo, an Assistance or Buddy dog. Melo is working dog who
lives with Mrs Hogbin and her family, to help her son who has a visual impairment. Melo
was very well behaved in school and the children found out lots of information about working
dogs and how to care for them. Thank you to Mrs Hogbin, Jessica, Hettie and Melo for
leading our assembly. We hope that Melo might be able to come into St Mary’s again soon.
